Vikhroli is, in large part, Godrej: the company’s factories, housing, schools and the mangrove reserve it has kept along the creek since the 1940s, and now the Godrej One office campus and the residential towers on its land. The east side along LBS Marg and the Eastern Express Highway carries pharmaceutical and other company offices; the JVLR link road starts here.
The mangroves are one of the largest protected stretches in the city and are the reason the eastern shoreline here is green.
