About Cusrow Baug
A large Parsi residential colony on the Causeway; gardens, low blocks and a fire temple inside.
A large Parsi residential colony on the Causeway, built in 1934 by the Bombay Parsi Punchayet. Low blocks around gardens, with a fire temple inside the compound.
The baugs are how a good deal of middle-class Parsi Mumbai has been housed for a century. It is private residential property; the gates are on the Causeway and the colony is not a visitor attraction, but it explains a stretch of the street that is otherwise unaccountably green.
