Stationery and Paper at Crawford Market

Built 1869, officially Mahatma Jyotiba Phule Mandai; designed by William Emerson with friezes by Lockwood Kipling. Fruit, vegetables, imported provisions, dry fruit, spices, party goods, stationery and household plastics. The cloth trade is not here — it is at Mangaldas and Mulji Jetha, a few minutes north.

Stationery, party goods and art supplies run along Abdul Rehman Street and the lanes between Crawford Market and Lohar Chawl: wrapping paper, decorations, school supplies, resin and craft materials, sold by the box to shops and by the piece to the public.
