Prabhadevi is the stretch between Dadar and Lower Parel on the western side: the Siddhivinayak temple, the station that was Elphinstone Road until it was renamed in 2018 after the footbridge disaster of 2017, Ravindra Natya Mandir, and the residential streets around them. It is where central Mumbai’s Marathi middle class lives, between the two commercial districts.
Kirti College lane and the vada pav stalls are on the Dadar edge; the office towers on the Lower Parel edge.
