Worli is the western coast of central Mumbai: the Worli Sea Face promenade, the Bandra-Worli Sea Link landing at the fort, the fishing village and Koliwada at the point, and behind them the mill lands that became the towers of Lower Parel and the restaurant and bar floors that go with them. Haji Ali is at the southern end; the Nehru Centre and the planetarium are inland.
Worli Koliwada is the original village, older than anything else here, with its own Ganpati, its own fishing fleet and its fort of 1675 at the tip.
