Falooda and Kulfi, Mumbai

The sweet end of the street trade.

Falooda is rose syrup, milk, vermicelli, basil seeds and ice cream in a tall glass, brought to India through Persia. Kulfi is denser than ice cream because the milk is reduced rather than churned, and it is set in a metal cone.
