Antiques and Second-Hand Goods at Chor Bazaar

Mutton Street, off Grant Road, trading since the 1850s. Antiques, vintage, gramophones, cameras, Bollywood posters, brass and furniture, in dealers’ shops rather than stalls. Friday is the flea-market day.

Chor Bazaar is dealers’ shops, not a flea market, except on Fridays. Mutton Street carries gramophones, vintage cameras and typewriters, old telephones, Bollywood posters and lobby cards, brass, clocks, furniture, trunks and whatever came out of a Parsi or Bohra house that was being cleared. Prices are opening positions.

These dealers were named with street numbers in a Chor Bazaar guide.
