Gourmet & Imported Food in Mumbai

Imported food in Mumbai is sold in two completely different places and the price gap between them is large. The organised gourmet chains carry European cheese, charcuterie, olive oils and fresh imported produce with proper cold chain and import labelling. The older trade — Crawford Market’s imported goods lanes, the dry fruit and date shops at Masjid Bunder and Bhendi Bazaar — sells much of the same category at market prices, with the difference that you check the dates and seals yourself.
